Taking time away to remember - and return to - the essentially wise & vibrant person you’ve always been. The one who, as Derek Walcott said, “Has loved you all your life, whom you ignored for another.”

A Sacred Time to Learn, Grow, & Heal

Together

“Sometimes it is necessary to re-teach a thing its loveliness.” — Galway Kinnel

In a culture — and world — that bombards us with messages of “Do more” and “It’s never enough,” it can be easy to lose touch with our basic worth and goodness. The idea that we have more to prove or accomplish is rampant. (If only it led to more authentic joy and satisfaction).

What is the path of joy? Most importantly, are you on it? (It’s probably closer than you think. ;)

Steven Hoskinson, the founder of Organic Intelligence, said, “The job is enjoyment.” If it sounds too idyllic or naive, know that science is in favor of you feeling good. In fact, the health of your nervous system, and therefore, whole of your life, depends on it!

Some of the simple and gentle, yet powerful ways a retreat can awaken joy and well-being are:

  • Nature meditations

  • Movement practices, such as stretching, yoga, and dance

  • Loving kindness and compassion practices

  • Nervous system education and inspiration

  • Support for easy, joyful connecting with self and others through journaling and small group discussion

  • Rituals that promote forgiveness & emotional healing

  • Grace, grace, and more grace to be and do as you are (You will always be enough in our eyes)

Note: We partner with health providers and retreat centers across **Hawaii in order to provide a comprehensive and meaningful learning experience.

**We offer our deepest respect and gratitude to the original land owners of Hawaii for access to this beautiful land.

Breon has had the honor of leading mindfulness classes and retreats for the last decade. She has a Masters in Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, post-graduate training in resilience and nervous system regulation, and is an Organic Intelligence Coach. It brings her great joy to help people rediscover their true nature, and capacity for living a meaningful, connected life.

Attending a retreat with Breon was a transformative experience. She created a safe space for silence, giving me a chance to observe my mind at work. Breon has a generous spirit, and she helped me to feel ok with whatever came up. I loved the retreat experience with Breon so much that I attended multiple retreats with her. —CAM

Breon is an amazing coach and guide for the practice of mindfulness.  Her passion for mindfulness is immediately apparent in how she conducts herself, and her demeanor makes it easy to try practices that might seem awkward or foreign.  She creates a strong and safe community where people can take risks and learn about themselves. During a daylong mindfulness retreat with Breon, we did yoga, meditations, and nature walks, and I did not want the day to end! The entire experience with Breon exceeded my expectations, and it changed my approach to life forever!  I am so thankful she was my guide on the journey to mindfulness.  —Steve Haney
