What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness, a concept at the core of our programs, is about paying attention. From a very young age, we are told to “pay attention,” but not necessarily taught how. Mindfulness training provides the “how.” It is an invitation to focus wholly on the present moment in a spacious, nonjudgmental way. Mindfulness is a calming force in the midst of a hectic, fast-paced life. It helps dissolve worries of the future and thoughts of the past that keep you awake at night and drain your energy. Above all, mindfulness connects you to your full capacity for living a life that is the truest expression of who you are.
