Corporate Mindfulness

Some of the world’s most prestigious companies, including Google, General Mills, and Target, are turning to mindfulness to provide employees with inner resources that foster greater individual and organizational success.

Stress Impedes Success
In a 2013 Wall Street Journal article, stress was described as the number one workforce risk issue, ranking above obesity and physical inactivity. A Catalyst work report shows that most employees feel stress in four main areas: workload levels, interpersonal challenges, job security, and juggling work and personal life.

Mindfulness is a powerful antidote to workplace stress. Dozens of studies show that mindfulness programs can: prevent exhaustion and burnout; enhance focus amid competing tasks and distractions; facilitate greater emotional control under pressure; and promote clear, effective communication.

Our experiential mindfulness workshops aim to equip employees with practical tools to help maximize wellness and resilience, even in the midst of uncertainty, transition and challenge. A win-win considering resilient, healthy employees are more engaged, productive and loyal.

Grow Mindful Leaders
Mindfulness also has benefits beyond stress reduction. Cultivating mindfulness in leaders is imperative in a hyper-busy, over-connected world. When leaders operate mindfully, they do away with inefficient practices that halt decision making and hinder creative problem solving.  Not to mention, mindful leaders exemplify excellent behaviors, such as focus, time management, and clear communication – qualities that spread to junior leaders to help whole teams and organizations thrive.

Would My Organization Benefit from Mindfulness?
With nearly all of America’s largest companies providing extensive mindfulness training, it can be easy to jump on the bandwagon. Yet, it’s worth pausing to consider how your organization could benefit from mindfulness.

  • Is your organization or team in transition?
  • Do you care about the well-being of your employees?
  • Are you interested in offering a program that enhances – and sustains – employee engagement?
  • Do you want to equip your workforce with tools and practices that optimize efficiency?
