As the Zen saying goes, “You should sit in meditation for twenty minutes every day – unless you’re too busy. Then you should sit for an hour.”
I agree that we need meditation most when life is distracting and hectic. But for mamas who don’t regularly practice meditation, even 20 minutes of stillness at this busy time of year may not bode well.
