Breon’s primary focus is to train people in the powerful practice of mindfulness. She offers a world-renowned program called Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, which was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at University of Massachusetts Medical.
What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness, a concept at the core of our programs, is about paying attention. From a very young age, we are told to “pay attention,” but not necessarily taught how. Mindfulness training provides the “how.” A teachable skill that stabilizes a busy mind, mindfulness is a calming force in the midst of a hectic, fast-paced life. Through training, mindfulness helps dissolve worries of the future and thoughts of the past that keep you awake at night and drain your energy. Above all, mindfulness connects you to your full capacity to live a centered, balanced, authentic life… one that is ultimately the truest expression of who you are.
