Join us for our final mindfulness retreat of 2016 at a beautiful mountain setting in Cave Creek, AZ. Take some time for yourself after a long, full year and transition into the New Year with renewed peace and vitality.

The Day will Include:

  • Short talks interspersed with longer periods of mindfulness practice, including mindful stretching, mindful walking, mindful eating, gratitude, loving kindness meditations and more.
  • Periods of silence to help deepen your understanding of mindfulness, reconnect with yourself, and enrich your well-being. (Please note, even though I’ll be guiding a variety of meditations throughout the day, you’ll be asked to maintain silence throughout the practices.)
  • Q & A periods
  • Time to rest and recharge in a beautiful mountain setting (free of responsibilities and distractions)
  • An opportunity to connect with like-minded people
  • Resource guide and free guided meditations to support continuous mindfulness practice at work and home
  • A vegetarian lunch, selection of hot teas and drinking water will be provided

This retreat is suitable for beginners and experienced meditators.

The Venue

The Durga Ranch Private Estate is on the north end of Cave Creek, near Spur Cross Preserve. The address will be provided upon enrollment.

About the Teacher

Breon Michel has been leading mindfulness classes and retreats in Phoenix and the surrounding area for five years. She teaches a world-renowned program called Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Having been privileged to attend a number of extensive retreats with some of the world’s leading mindfulness teachers, including Jon Kabat-Zinn, Bob Stahl, Sharon Salzberg, Tara Brach, and James Baraz, Breon’s aim is to make these powerful teachings available to all people, regardless of race, religion, sexuality, etc. to help elicit a natural state of peace and happiness.

Registration

You must register by Friday, December 2 at 5 pm to reserve a spot at the retreat. Upon registration, you’ll receive an Intake form and additional retreat details.
